Crafters, vendors sought for Carnegie Presby event
Vendors and crafters are needed for a vendor fair at Carnegie Presbyterian Church on Oct. 24 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The fair is sponsored by the mission committee of the church.
Rummage sale
The Christian Mothers & Guild of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish will hold their annual fall rummage sale and flea market tonight through Saturday.
Hours will be 9 a.m to 8 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
The rummage sale will take place in St. Ignatius Church, 125 Finley Ave., Glendale.
All proceeds benefit St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish.
Crafters sought
SS. Simon & Jude School will hold its annual holiday craft show on Nov. 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Tables are $30.

Morning Bible study
A Wednesday morning Bible study begins each week at 11 a.m. at Crafton United Presbyterian Church on Bradford Avenue.
This fall the group will begin a study of the book of Revelation.
New members to the group are welcome.

Our Lady of Grace School in Scott Township seeks crafters and vendors for its craft and vendor show on Nov. 14.
The show will run from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Scripture and arts
A scripture and arts program will be held at Wallace Memorial Presbyterian Church the week of Oct. 11 through 18.
The juried exhibit will be open from 2 to 8 p.m. daily and will feature special events in addition to the visual art presentation.
Wallace Memorial is located at 1146 Greentree Road.

Flea market
Church of the Atonement (Episcopal), 618 Washington Ave., Carnegie, will hold its annual flea market on Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The sale continues on Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon.
It will close from noon to 1 p.m. to set up for the $1 a bag sale that runs from 1 to 3 p.m.
Clothing for the family, books, toys, household items, and more. will be available at very reasonable prices.
Mediterranean fare
St. George Orthodox Church's Mediterranean Food Festival -- the original Feast from the East -- will be held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday on the church grounds at 610 Dewey Ave., Bridgeville.
Festival hours are noon to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Barbeque chicken
Rennerdale U.P. Church will hold a barbeque chicken dinner on Oct. 10 from 4 to 6:30 p.m.
The price is $8 for adults and $4 for children. Under 5 is free.
Hot dogs will be sold separately.
Tutoring program
A tutoring program for students in grades 7 through 9 will be held from 2:30 to 4 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays at Crafton United Presbyterian Church on Bradford Avenue, beginning Oct. 5.
Students who attend Carlynton Junior/Senior High School can make arrangements with the school to ride a bus that will drop them off at the church at the end of the school day.
No transportation is provided at the end of the tutoring program. There is no charge for the program.
The young people will be provided with an after-school snack, and then the students will receive help completing homework assignments and preparing for tests.
A Carlynton High School teacher, as well as other adult volunteers, will be on hand to assist the students.
