Fred F. Peelor
formerly of Scott Township
Fred F. Peelor, of Washington, formerly of Peters Township and Scott Township, died on Oct. 13 at the age of 89.
Mr. Peelor served in the U S Army Air Force during World War II.
He was a senior traffic engineer at U S Steel for 42 years and a member of St. Benedict the Abbot Church where he served on the finance committee.
He was an avid golfer and was loved by all his family.

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Benedict the Abbot Church. Entombment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Washington County Health Center, 36 Old Hickory Ridge Road, Washington, PA 15301.
Leonard F. Aleski
Heidelberg
Leonard F. Aleski, of Heidelberg, died on Sept. 29.
He was a son of the late John and Caroline Aleski; beloved husband of Dorothy Aleski; father of Len (Colleen) Aleski, Jack (Mercy) Aleski and Deb (the late Greg) Urbanek; brother of Gertrude (the late John) Pajak, Elizabeth Aleski and Raymond (Shirley) Aleski and the late Rose, Alfred and Sylvester Aleski; Poppa of Brendon, Ryan (Julie), Megan, Stacie, Paige Aleski and Ian and Jenner Urbanek.
Arrangements were entrusted to Szafanski-Eberlein Funeral Home, Carnegie.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Ignatius Church, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish.
Joseph G. Pavlic
Heidelberg
Joseph G. Pavlic, 99, of Heidelbereg, died on Oct. 12.
He was the beloved husband of the sunshine of his life for 63 years, Viola (Menstereifel) Pavlic; loving father of JoAnn (Rick) Zinsmeister, the late James (Ruth) Pavlic, Linda (Dan) Harshman, Susan (David) Sampson, John (Brenda) Pavlic and Connie DiForti; brother of the late Matt Smith, George Pavlic and Mary Sestric; also survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Pavlic was employed by American Steel Band in Heidelberg.
Arrangements were entrusted to Szafranski-Eberlein Funeral Home, Carnegie. Mass of Christian burial in St. Ignatius Church St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish.

Mark Allen Schrager
Carnegie
Mark Allen Schrager, 51, of Carnegie, died on Oct. 12.
He was the beloved husband of Laurie L. Schrager; loving father of Mitchell and Michael Schrager; son of Arlene Frieze and the late Irwin Schrager; brother of Andrea Stoneback, Edith "Terri" (Cullen) Burdette, Eric Frieze, Fern (Gary) Wolff, Scot (Heather) Schrager and the late Larry Schrager.
Also survived by his step-parents, Claire Schrager and Thomas Frieze.
Arrangements were entrusted to William Slater II Funeral Svc., Scott Township, where a service was held.
Eva Kosek
Scott Township
Eva Kosek, of Scott Township, died on Oct. 12.
She was the wife of the late William Kosek; sister of Johanna, who resides in Germany; aunt of Sandi (Dale) Aleski and Dave (Jan) Kosek; also survived by great-nieces & great-nephews.
Eva leaves behind a host of friends at the John J. Kane Regional Center, Scott Township.
Arrangements were entrusted to Szafranski-Eberlein Funeral Home, Carnegie, where a blessing service was held.
