Crafton officer charged in fatal hit-run fired
Crafton Council rejected the resignation of a borough police officer charged with a hit-and-run death and instead fired him during a special meeting Monday night. Donnie L. Breeden, 38, of Green Tree is accused of killing David Hall, 24, of Moon on West Carson Street in the South Side on July 20, 2007, and fleeing the scene. Pittsburgh police arrested Breeden last month, charging him with involuntary manslaughter and driving a vehicle involved in an accident causing death or personal injury.
